Crochet Christmas Flower Doily

This doily inspired me at the first time I saw it. I love the color, the stitches and the special feeling I had when making it. Thank you so much Glor at Crochet Galore for sharing such a beautiful pattern!

I added 2 dc more in the last round, just hope it will be thicker, but when I finished, how surprising it turned out ruffled, so there's a little bit difference from pattern:

But I love it. The ruffled edging looks like petals of a big flower. Glor, may I call it a Christmas Flower Doily? :)

Wish you all a fabulous weekend!

With love, xxx

Your doily is really nice! You know I also made one very similar some time ago: it was red. Maybe I can post some photos.
I thought of using it as a placemat and I had done a little more to use as coaster :)

Wow, we have many same things, I intend to make some coasters with the left thread, too! :)

I agree that the edging is so pretty, like flower petals. Love that is in green too.

Beautiful! I just love the colour and really you could use it all year round. I'll have to try one for a center piece on my table. Thank you for sharing.

Like that doily. Haven't done much with small hooks and thread lately, eye sight giving out, but I got a copy of it. Pop over and check out my ponchos, fingerless glove, purse and caps I made for grands. Go under ART under the header. Blessings

Very nice, it looks beautiful, I'm glad you liked the pattern! I just love it in the evergreen, so holiday. I'm still keeping the name Holiday Doily ... but this one is yours so I guess you can call it what you want. Enjoy it!
